2026 Sweetest Dad in Watertown- The Nomination Stories
💙 The Stories Behind Our 2026 Sweetest Dad Nominees 💙
A name on a list can only tell you so much. It’s the stories behind those names that show us just how special these dads, grandpas, stepdads, and father figures truly are.
These are the heartfelt words submitted by the people who know and love them best. These stories celebrate the dads who show up when it matters, keep their families laughing, lend a hand without being asked, offer steady support, and somehow always know when the thermostat has been touched.
The number shown with each story corresponds to that nominee’s placement in our previous facebook/instagram post listing all of the Sweetest Dad nominees. If a dad received more than one nomination, each of his stories will appear under the same number.
Some stories will make you smile, some may bring a tear to your eye, and all of them are wonderful reminders of the difference a loving father figure can make.
The nominations may have been lightly edited for clarity, but the love and meaning behind each one remain unchanged.
We hope you’ll follow along and help us celebrate the amazing men nominated for 2026 Sweetest Dad in Watertown. Every one of them deserves to know how much he is appreciated. 💙
1. He works from dark to dark running his own busniess but if one of his 5 kids asks him to play with him or do something with them even if he is exhausted or busy after a long day he will drop everything for any one of them.
2. He is just an amazing dad. Amazing provider. Amazing cook. Always makes time for his family. Works 12 hour shifts. My #1 supporter. Never let's us struggle. Always puts himself last. We are so blessed to have him. Definitely 1 of a kind
3. My husband is an absolute gem of a human. We have two teenage boys and I would have not been able to handle this part of parenting without him. Hes such a hard worker and loves each of us fiercely. He is the sweetest dad in Watertown in my eyes.
4. My husband is the most selfless dad I’ve ever known. He spends every second he can with his two boys, giving them his full attention, endless love, and unforgettable memories. Watching them laugh, play, and light up around him is proof of the incredible bond they share. He always puts his children first, and there is no one more deserving of being recognized as an amazing father.
5. My fiance and I have our first child together, about 6 months old, (after both of us nearly gave up on love and having anymore kids), and he goes above and BEYOND for us in all aspects of life. He works very long, hard, pharmacy hours to pay for our brand new home, supports me going to school for my dream job, comes home to take care of our landscaping projects, forces me to take care of myself, helps me with chores and with our new son, and never once batted an eye when my daughter latched onto him as a father figure. He goes above and beyond for her as well, so she knows her worth as a young lady. He is someone who never complains, even when he should. He has inspired me to be a better person and love everyone else as he has loved me, and I am (we are) all the better for it! Thanks for the opportunity!
6. Austin has put his family and friends first his whole life! Now after 12.5 years in the trades, he’s doing something for himself and created his own business! Still working 60+ hour weeks while being the best dad to our two kids.
7. He is the sweetest dad to our son. He practices so much patience, makes sure to always praise and reward our son when he is doing well. He’s the best at making sure our son has the most fun and the best adventures. He’s the best dad.
8. 4 years ago, Austin was a single man, living the single life. I was a single mom to two girls when we met. Since then, he has shown up and showed out for the girls. They both, lovingly, refer to him as "Dad", and he has flawlessly taken on the role.
9. He is a brand new dad, learning all there is to know about caring for a newborn and helping his wife through postpartum. He is committed to serving his family while juggling all the other responsibilities of life.
10. Ben is not only kind to his family but to others as well. Ben takes pride in being a kind and compassionate human being inside and outside of the home. Treating everyone with kindness comes naturally to him, especially as a dad. Ben hadn’t gotten many opportunities to witness kindness growing up but he just can’t help using kindness as a way to teach, learn and connect with those around him.
11. He is a young dad to two young girls who is continuously working hard both at his job and at home to give his family the absolute best. He is always on to put himself last and is always concerned with making sure his girls have the best before fulfilling his needs.
12. Bob really stepped up, since I had to stop working to care for a son with some extra needs, and a second son with severe medical needs. As the only income, he makes sure everyone has what they need and want. When his younger son is frequently admitted he solo parents his older son, does all the house work, and still works full time. Hes stepped up to watch both boys while caring for myself while I recovered from brain surgery not once, but twice. He shoulders so much, and really deserves the world!
13. I would like to nominate Brandon because he stepped up to be a Dad to my son (24) 15 yrs ago. He has 2 daughters that he would do anything for. 6 yrs ago I became disabled and he put forth extra effort to make my life easier. 1 yr ago his Uncle passed away followed by his Father 28 days later and he has been taking care of his Mom and Aunt.
14. Brandon is an amazing husband, father, son and friend. He works hard and enjoys exploring nature with his free time. He’s the type of man that loves his family and is not afraid the roll up his sleeves to help another. Though too many times he’s putting himself last and his hard work goes unnoticed. He is such a caring man and a great candidate for this title.
15. He is the perfect dad to all girls! Lilly 8, Iris (our daughter that passed away would be 6) Ivy 4 and soon another girl in December. He always makes sure they are provided for and emotionally there for all their needs. He is absolutely perfect.
16. Bret is an attentive father who brings the Bluey dad Bandit to life. He comes up with creative games to keep his little girls giggling and enjoying their time. He created his business to be able to spend ample time with his own children as well as help serve kids in our community with their needs too. We adore what he does for us!
17. Caleb is the type of Dad that gives 100 percent all the time, even when he is running on empty. Despite working full time third shift and functioning on minimal sleep most days, Caleb absolutely loves spending time with his family and engaging in many activities with his daughter. When hes not building legos, playing guitar, feeding the ducks, making crafts, going to special events, helping with homework and playing/watching sports with his daughter and wife, you can find him cooking meals, capturing memories of his family with his camera, helping with house chores, running errands, and even helping out with his daughters girl scout troop, and with school activties! Caleb is also always willing to lend a hand to his family, and his friends and their families whenever he is able to and takes great pride and joy in doing so. Caleb is a very pround uncle and adores spending time with his three neices. He is an all around "Super" Dad, Uncle, Husband, Friend, Son, Brother and we sure do appreciate him and love him to the moon!
18. A young father of 5, there’s not much that Caleb does without someone else in mind, usually his family. He is selfless, compassionate, strong in more ways than one, and is a wonderful role model to our kids. After a life changing health diagnosis last year, I have watched him grow and adapt, instead of giving into the frustrations he’s faced. He works so hard for both myself and our kids to be able to homeschool and to experience such a beautiful childhood. I’m so grateful to him every day, and I know our kids are so proud to call him their dad.
19. He is such a calm, patient, loving & thoughtful father to our girls.
They feel so safe & cared for by him!
He is such a good teacher & loves to help them learn & grow.
20. Chad is a very hard-working father who will do anything for anyone. He’s always there if someone needs him even if to watch someone’s kids so the mom’s can have a night out.
21. He works two jobs to make sure we have everything we need, coaches softball, involved in school, the best dad to our daughter with autism, is always patient, and kind and never says no to helping anyone!
21. Chase is what a Dad should be. He works 2 jobs to give his 2 girls everything they need. He sleeps very little so he can spend time with them when he's not working. He coaches them and teaches them things you won't learn in school. A very caring and hands on Dad.
22. He is an amazing father to three kids. He works all day to support the family and then makes sure he has time with the kids, like fixing up a car for our first born, painting with our daughter, and playing games with our youngest. Even though he's tired or sore he will always make time to help them with homework or just to hang out. He is the greatest father.
23. He’s such a great dad to our 4 kids. He works hard for us and then after work is always doing something with the kids. He takes them to the park, roller skating, the movies or anything. I have MS so I don’t always feel up to it, and he steps up to do something with the kids. He’s a great partner, and we are so grateful to him.
24. He shows up every day and works to support our family. He's the best dad to our babies and loves us unconditionally. He can fix everything and is so knowledgeable in everything he does. 🩵
25. He is ALWAYS there for our little family. Willing to do what it takes to help our kiddos live the best fulfilled lives. He’s the dad coaching, making all the school lunches, doing drop off and pick up. We love him so much and all he does!
26. My dad is always there for me, no matter the time or distance. One morning, he noticed oil on our driveway after I had already left for school and immediately called to check on me. Without hesitation, he drove all the way to Waukesha to inspect my car, add oil, and make sure I was safe. He even drove my car home himself while I drove his truck so I wouldn’t have to worry. His selflessness, dependability, and unconditional love are what make him the sweetest dad I know!
27. Between fishing lessons, twister battles and rewatching his favorite childhood movie (Toy Story) with his two bonus daughters, he’s also working overtime to provide for us all while keeping a smile on his face and an optimistic attitude.
28. My husband deserves to be named the Sweetest Dad in Watertown because of the incredible love, dedication, faith, and positivity he brings to our family and community every single day. While he may be a stepdad by title, he is a dad in every way that matters. He stepped into our children's lives with unconditional love, patience, and support, and they know they can always count on him. He sacrifices his mornings and afternoons without hesitation to make sure the kids get where they need to be, handling school drop-offs, pick-ups, activities, and everything in between. No matter how busy or tired he may be, he always puts family first. He shows up consistently, not because he has to, but because he genuinely loves our children and wants the best for them.
29. He's the best dad and "papa" around. He makes everyone laugh and would do anything for anyone. He can fix anything. He's always there for his kids and grandson and loves them unconditionally. He truly is one of a kind and the world is a better place because he's in it.
30. My dad is not only a father figure, but one of my best friends. Whether its binging The Simpsons (which he can quote every episode of) or telling his favorite " What do we want? Low flying airplane noises. When do we want them? Nrrrrruaaaawwww" my dad can always find a way to brighten my day. He seems like a tough red neck guy, a bouncer turned electrician, he is truly a big softy. He loves to garden and admire his pretty flowers. Not only that, but he is a hero, winning honorable citizen of dodge county for saving the life of a man ejected from his truck in the middle of winter during what would have been a fatal accident. That man is alive today because of him. My dad truly is my hero.
31. My dad is my best friend. He is always there when I need him especially as a single mom of 5 kids, he is there to help me with his grandkids. He is a 22 year recovering alcoholic who changed his life around for his kids and grandkids. Works his butt off but always makes sure his family comes first!
32. Dennis will do anything for his boys. He loves spending time with them. Ernie will tell us the strangest things. But he loves my boys and we love him.
33. As a busy father if 4, this dad knows how to show up for all 4 kids without a grumpy face or growl. Takes every day with grace and teaches them along the way each day to be the best they can be. Lucky to have this man in our lives!
34. He’s a fairly new dad and he’s nothing short of amazing! He sacrifices so much for our son and little family and he’s truly the greatest blessing!
35. Ed is the 26 year old father of my neice and nephew. Husband to my younger sister. He is the best dad and a seasoned one at that. He's the fixer, the grill master, the provider, the make it all better kind of Dad. He works a full-time job for the city of watertown while also tending to his side business of detailing vehicles. Cars, trucks, tractors.. you name it! He stays awake into the wee hours of the night putting in extra hours to provide for his family. All while having to get up at 5am for his full time job. He works for the watertown water department. He has been known to walk up and down our streets, going door to door, passing out water bottles to residents when there is a water break. He has saved baby ducks out of sewers even when being told it was too dangerous to do so. Truly a stand up guy in our community. His children think he is a super hero and they just might be right!
36. He’s literally the coolest. He believed in my dreams before I even knew they were my dreams, investing in my future allowing me to have opportunities I normally wouldn’t have. He was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer over a year ago, and has been doing really well despite all the obstacles placed in front of him. I moved over a thousand miles away from him, and we talk more now than we ever have. He is amazing, and I hope he knows it.
37. Dennis will do anything for his boys. He loves spending time with them. Ernie will tell us the strangest things. But he loves my boys and we love him.
38. My favorite memory was having movie nights as a kid. Getting movies from the redbox at walmart and buying snacks. That's the biggest memory I'll never forget.
When my dad lost his father a few weeks ago he never failed to call me and text me to ask how I was doing even though he was grieving too. He pushed what he was feeling aside to make sure I was doing okay.
He may not always be perfect but he's there when I need him.
39. He is always doing special things for his kids. Buying treats, sending texts and was always present at every extracurricular activity. He loves being around them.
40. We just wanted to take a moment to tell you how much you mean to all of us! You are such an amazing Dad and we feel so lucky every single day. you’re always there for us whether it’s sitting down to talk about Pokémon, getting excited about the newest video games coming out, or just taking the time to listen. Those moments mean everything to us.
Owen wants you to know how much he loves spending time with you watching Batman the animated series and playing video games together in the afternoons after you’re done with work. Those are some of his favorite times with you.
Hayden wants to say thank you for all the evening spent watching new girl together. It’s something he really looks forward to and enjoy sharing with you.
And of course we can’t forget the weekends because you make the best scrambled eggs. It’s something we all look forward to in a little tradition that makes our weekend’s extra special.
Thank you for being such a fun, caring, and loving Dad. You make time for us you make us laugh, and you make our family stronger every day. We love you so much!
Happy Father’s Day!
Love always,
Hayden, Owen, and Wifey
41. He's the reason our home is a safe place for friends and family to go to when in need, and if he can help you he will, emergency pick up from school or 2 am from the bar, send you cash or take your kids out for driving lessons, help you move last minute or give you a place to stay for a week.
42. My Dad is the sweetest Dad in Watertown because he loves his family, neighbors, and everyone he knows. He is the type of guy that would give you the shirt off of his back if that's what you needed. I know that if I have a problem in my life, big or small, I can always reach out to my Dad. I may be a grown woman, but in my Dad's heart I will always be his baby girl.
43. I am nominating my husband because he always goes above and beyond for our big family and always gets what needs to be done, done. He does this all with out fan fare . Never looks for praise or gifts , just is in his element when he is serving his family. He is a disabled veteran and even though he deals with daily pain he carries an attitude that is filled with nothing short of love and guidance . We have 7 children and he is a devoted husband and hardworking father . It would be lovely to see him receive a surprise and let him know he’s always our Hero .
44. I would like to nominate my wonderful husband for all that he does for our family. He works incredibly hard every day to take care of not only his wife, but also our son and daughter, always putting our needs before his own. His kindness extends beyond our immediate family as he has welcomed my little sister into our home with open arms and treats her as his own, never hesitating to drop everything and help whenever she needs him, no matter the time or circumstance. No matter how tired he is, he still comes home and makes almost every meal for our family, and I can honestly say he is an amazing cook. He keeps our home running smoothly, tackling chores he doesn't even enjoy, like laundry and dishes, with little complaint because he knows it helps our family. He is truly the husband and father who can do it all. Through his dedication, selflessness, and unwavering love, he is setting the best example for our children, showing them the value of hard work, responsibility, and how to love fiercely. We are so incredibly lucky to have him, and I am grateful every day for the life and family we have because of the love and effort he pours into us. We all love you tremendously.
45. He has always been a great male role model for his son. And any other kids he comes in contact with. Always willing to lend a hand or teach a skill.
46. With four kids and another on the way, and a farm to care for, Jason never complains—he simply shows up with a smile and a servant's heart. We are incredibly blessed to call him husband and dad, and there is no one more deserving of being celebrated this Father's Day. 💙
47. My dad is someone who has gone above and beyond for more than just my family in my lifetime. My dad is a second generation car mechanic that cares about each customer like they’re part of our family, and each customer over time has become like part of our family. Through his hard work my sister and I have been able to pursue our dreams and academics without worrying and never have to worry about our cars. There’s no one quite like him, but he’ll also tell you otherwise if you ask him.
48. I met my now husband 5 years ago and he is not only a hard working husband and would do everything for me, but he is an amazing father to my children. He works at CQC and works very hard. I honestly don’t know what I would do without him. He has made all my dreams come true.
49. I’m nominating my dad because he’s the best example I know of someone choosing to be better than the life they were given. Growing up, he dealt with a lot, his dad was abusive, struggled with alcohol, and was in and out of jail. He always told me his biggest goal was to be a better father than his dad was, and he’s done exactly that. No matter how many hobbies, ideas, or crazy plans I’ve had over the years, he’s always been my biggest supporter and has never once told me I couldn’t do something. He’s not just an amazing dad to me, but to all of my siblings, and I wouldn’t be the person I am today without him.
49. He is the best dad ever. Always there for his kids and stepchildren.
49. Jesse is my fiancés dad! To say that I’m blessed to have him as my father in law is an understatement. Jesse is truly the best role model I could have asked for; for my fiancé, his unconditional love he shows to his kids is admirable. Jesse truly deserves this award!
49. Jesse cares not only about his kids but all the kids in Watertown. A boy in our neighborhoods brand new birthday bike was stolen, so Jesse ask some of the local businesses and other neighbors to pitch in to by the boy a new bike.
49. This grill master sure knows how to drop everything for his kids. He does it all with his whole heart because he loves them so much!
49. jessie is the nicest guy I have ever met. He has taught me so many good life lessons.
50. My husband Jim deserves to be the Sweetest Dad in Watertown because he is the quiet backbone of our family. He is retiring this fall after an incredible 42 years with UPS in town, but his favorite job is being there for his family. No matter what project I throw his way, whether it's supporting our Girl Scout troop, helping out with T-ball, or working with the PTO, he jumps in with a smile (maybe a few grumbles). Most recently, he spent his time planting flowers with the Girl Scouts to beautify Webster School, and he even volunteered to sweat it out in the school mascot suit on the very last day of school just to make the kids smile. He constantly goes above and beyond, teaching our children what it truly means to work hard and show up for your community.
51. Joe cares so deeply for our kids and our family, and he shows it every day. Even through the many challenges life has thrown at him, Joe is always there with a joke to make us smile. He works hard to help keep our home clean and laundry taken care of while teaching our kids what it means to be part of a family- whether that is through working on chores together, teaching life lessons, lending a helping hand, or taking us on an adventure. Just as we are lucky to have Joe as husband/father in our family, Watertown is lucky to have a dad who cares about this community so much, too!
52. Joel is the definition of a dad who constantly goes above and beyond, anchoring his family of four with unwavering support and hard work. Whether he is thoughtfully planning a perfect disc golf outing for his two toddlers or bringing lighthearted joy into everyday moments at The Marquardt, his dedication to his people is unmatched. He is the kind of reliable, present father who shows up for the big milestones and the small, chaotic daily routines alike. Celebrating him means recognizing the quiet strength, humor, and endless care he pours into making life better for everyone around him.
53. Hes our sons hero. Hardworking for our family, willing to help out any neighbor or friend with projects. He knows how to do everything it seems, and does it with ease, and a smile on his face. Hes our rock, but also our light!
54. My dad has always consistently shown up for me in my life. I have shown about every animal known to man and I was riding my horse one time at the Jefferson Fair Park and my pants ripped... My dad WITHOUT hesitation gave me his sweatpants and waited for the rest of the practice in his undergarments and a blanket just so I could be there for my team. I switched horse power and got into stockcar racing and every night after work regardless of how hard the day was he was ALWAYS working on the car making it better and safer for me. I can not thank my dad enough for all he has done for me and I think this would be a perfect way to celebrate him.
55. In 2016 my husband came into my life knowing that I had a 6 year old daughter. Knowing he would be a step parent and step up for her. In 2020 we got married and found out he was gonna be a father in the same year. Now he goes about n beyond for his son from playing to chasing him around to teaching him new things. He is one of the best dads I've seen in my life.
56. In the almost 2 years that we have been together, he has been an amazing “dad” to my kids. He took my 2 in like they were his own. If I can’t make it to one of my kids events, being school or whatever, he made sure he was there for them. He truly has been a great person to my kids and I.
57. My husband is the sweetest dad to our 2 year old because he manages to work a full time job, while also currently acting as a single Dad while I am gone with the Military for the next year.
58. He is an extremely hard worker, always makes sure his family has what they need, goes above and beyond, is a true family man and loves his family beyond measure. We are glad to have him in our life.
59. Josh works 2 hard full-time jobs in the heat to provide for all of our kids. He plays with them and is a father figure to kids that aren’t even biologically his. He always treats them all the same. He is caring, shows up for all, devoted, and pushes them to their full potential! He encourages them and plays with them, teaches them. Most importantly he loves and supports them all in whatever they do. We also have a 5 month old baby girl and he hasn't missed a moment! Including baby food she had to wait to try so he wouldn’t miss it lol . I Honestly couldn’t have picked a better dad for our kids!!! I know being nominated as the sweetest dad would just make his father's day!! He deserves all the recognition! He's an amazing dad.
60. Keith is an all around amazing dad. He can fix anything and everything, works hard all day, and then comes home and ready to jump in to help anyone that needs it. Kids jumping on a trampoline? He is probably in there too. From WWE style wrestling matches to riding bikes blasting our daughter's favorite new songs, to performing endless Disney ballads and musicals on the karaoke machine, he is the go to kid fav, the best girl dad ever, and we are so blessed to have him.
61. Lucas is a father to 4 children and a man who truly cares about his family and the people around him. He brings love, patience, and guidance to his family every day. He is always willing to lend a helping hand and serves others with kindness and generosity. His caring heart and selfless actions make every day better for those who know him. He makes a positive difference in the lives of many.
62. Some dads are born into the role, my fiancé chose it. He stepped into my son's life and has loved, guided, and supported him as his own every day since. No matter how many hours he works, he still finds the energy to be the gentle heart of our family, whether that's caring for my son, loving our two dogs, or showing up whenever someone needs him. Fatherhood isn't just something he does, it's who he is.
63. He became my dad at 18, but he also chose to become a husband and a role model. Recently he was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, when the nurses told him they were crying, he felt bad that they felt bad so he went and bought them flowers. When he hears that the humane society needs toys for the dogs he makes it his personal mission to find the "best" squeaker! If we are at a store and someone doesn't have enough for their purchase, he’s always " got it!" My dad is the guy who goes in a store and leaves with a new friend or at least leaves you with a smile.
64. We have three children, two are his step kids. He has always accepted them and treated them as his own from the start. Loves them all unconditionally! ❤️ We would be so lost without him.
65. Mike puts his whole heart into his family and never fails to be our ultimate cheerleader. His love for the Watertown community runs deep, and he’s always finding new ways to get involved and give back. Whether he’s being an exceptional husband, a devoted father, or a helping hand to a neighbor in need, he is truly one of a kind. I am incredibly blessed to walk through life with him and raise our kids by his side.
65. Michael is a "Super DAD" to three super awesome children. Michael absolutely adores his three children and his wife and is always going out of his way to make sure they are loved, supported and cared for in every way possible. He is a very proud Papa Bear and loves to share many stories about his kids! Michael loves to plan fun adventures and enjoys going to many different events with his family and is oftentimes inviting his friends and their families to come along as well! Michael loves to host friends at their home with all of their children and goes out of his way to make sure everyone feels welcome and treated like family! When Michael isnt hosting gatherings, he spends his time "Doing Mike Things" like making sourdough, smoking meats, being a grill master, gardening, watching sports, volunteering at church, his childrens school, and other community events! Michael has such a kind heart and soul and would seriously probably give you the shirt off his back if you needed it! This is why Michael Peacy deserves to be recognized as the sweetest dad!
66. Mitch has devoted the last 14 yrs as a stay at home Dad. Provides our boys with adventures, laughs and lessons.
67. He is a fellow parent of children in the same school as my child. Everyday at pick-up time ( when school was in session of course) he would be there to collect them. You could tell that this daddy had already had a long day at work, but was never going to let that effect his girls. He always was a great part of joking conversation with all of us parents as we wait. But the real truth shined as soon as those school doors opened. Those 2 little girls ran to him every day with so much love and admiration upon seeing him. They would hug him...but then rushingly toss the backpacks and school sheets upon him, and he would load up his arms willingly. As the girls ran off to play you could just see the love and pride for his role as father as he watched them. He mastered how to keep close radar on two little energetic ladies at school gatherings as they ran in separate directions. As all of us parents chatted about what exhausting plans we had lined up next, he still did so with slight giggles on his gourmet meal plans that included dino-nuggets. He just really exploded with love and the pride of being a father. He deserves to be thanked beyond measure...and I know his girls feel the same way. So even though this isn't a prize of a golfing trip, he is also someone whom appreciates the simple little things in life and also supporting our community and businesses.
68. Let me tell you about my husband, a Dad to 10. Not only does he cook EVERY meal for all of us, but he makes sure that every ingredient is as healthy as he can get to make sure his family continues healing from all their ailments💖 He gets up with the babies at night so I can get amazing sleep... every night🥹 he leads his family spiritually✝️ he makes sure we feel loved at all times and he's probably one of the funniest people I've ever met😂
Happy Father's Day to All the Amazing Dads out there🤍
69. With having a new baby and a toddler, our lives are pretty hectic (in the best way) and my husband never stumbles. He is our rock, our provider, and our light. From ranger rides to running up the hill with trucks millions of times, he shows up for it all, even after a long day at work. We are so lucky to have a fun loving dad who’s always ready to play.
70. He will literally give the shirt off his back not to just our children, but anyone. One of the most selfless, loving and kindest person I’ve ever met. He goes out his way to help feed the homeless, volunteers at church, at Mary’s Room, and never expects or wants anything in return. He is and army vet, so I’m not shocked at the love and compassion that he gives to not just his family, but his community.
71. He’s been the best dad has always worked hard to support our family. Showed me how to do so much like changing my oil on my car. Cut and stacking wood. And now he is a wonderful grandfather and great grandfather
72. I am nominating my dad because he is a hard worker and helps me learn new things/ learns new things himself from me. My dad also helps me with projects and whatever he can because that’s the type of person my dad is. He would never ever treat me or any of my family or friends any way they shouldn’t be. He will help people who need it if he can help and would do whatever he can. I love my dad.
73. He is a step dad that has stepped up and help my children even though he doesnt have too. He is one that will help them learn how to do things instead of doing it for them. He is even when their fathers arent there for them. He is someone my children and grandchildren can look up to.
74. Taylor and I met on unexpected circumstances not looking for love after a chaotic last relationship. It was love at first sight and he has taken me out of fight or flight mode after 12 years of a narcissistic relationship, we both grew out of this together. He has taken my son in as his own, has his step son and we are expecting our first child this November 2026, another baby boy 👶. He let me be a woman for once in my life and focus on my pregnancy 💙 off work to get through my first trimester. I am grateful for him.
75. My dad is always only a phone call away and he’s there. He is always willing to take a ranger ride or push cars with his grandson or take the kids to look at the garden to give his kids a breather after a long day. We couldn’t ask for a better dad and grandpa.
76. My dad is truly one of a kind and has always been my biggest supporter. He spent my childhood cheering me on and teaching me important lessons about life. Through every stage of my life, including my divorce, he has remained a steady source of love and support. He is an amazing grandpa who is always willing to help, often without even being asked. His selflessness and generosity make him incredibly deserving of something special like this.
77. I’m nominating my husband because he works hard while fighting an autoimmune disease that causes him pain everyday. It allows me to stay home and take care of the kids. He would give the shirt off his back. All in all he’s a great dad, even to his step kids.
78. The best daddy to our boy, Crew, and soon to be second time dad to our babygirl coming this weekend! Always finds a way to brighten my day. & knows just how to make us laugh and smile with silly dance moves and jokes! ◡̈
79. Tyler is literally the best dad. He works long hours to provide for his family and he shows up to everything! He’s not afraid to make himself look goofy to put a smile on our kids faces! He’s just the best ❤️
79. He is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met helped me through my drug addiction and has always been there for me. Everyone I’ve met has had a great relationship with him genuinely one of the funniest and sweetest people I could’ve asked for to be my dad
79. My dad is the best because he supports me through challenges and encourages me to do my best. He shows his love through his actions, always being there when I need him.
80. Will joined scouts with our son in 1st grade. Even though our son aged out, he still helps with the troop. He does the USS Cobia trip with them as a navy sub vet. He's the best uncle and host dad, we host exchange students. Always fixing things, laughing and pretty chill.
81. He is a new daddy but he has always been good with the dad jokes. He says things like "thanks! I made her myself!" when people comment how cute our baby is.
